Char Dham Salvation Tour
The four Himalayan Dhams of Hindu Pilgrimage are sought after by the Hindu pilgrims as well as devotees from all over the world. The altitudes of all the char dhams are high and during winter the temples are closed. Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath are the four holy dhams each of which are related to Hindu mythology.
Hindus believe that a tour to Char Dham rewards with salvation, free from the circle of death and life.

Day 01 : Delhi - Haridwar (205 Kms. 6 hrs)
On the first day of Char Dham Pilgrimage, arrive at the Delhi International Airport. Our representative welcoming you at the airport will take you to Haridwar, the gateway destinations to Char Dhams.
On arrival take the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. You will feel the aura of Hindu beliefs and spiritualism. Haridwar is a vibrant religious abode. Evening proceed to Har ka Pauri Ghat to have the view of evening Aarti.
Day 02 : Haridwar - Barkot (205 Kms 5 - 6 hrs)
Drive to Barkot. This is the starting point to Yamunotri. Barkot is about 50 kms from Yamunotri. On the way lunch will be served to you. Enroute explore the Kempty Falls.
On arrival check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. After dinner, stay overnight.
Day 03 : Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot (32 Kms. Drive +10 kms Local Taxi drive+ 6 Kms. Trek, one way)
Post breakfast, drive to Hanuman Chatti. Reaching, take a local jeep to Janki Chatti. Then start your trek to Yamunotri. You have to trek 6 kms to Yamunotri. On the way you have to cross the terrains, mountain streams. Thought the journey is a little bit arduous yet you will enjoy the trek through the trails of mountains.
Reaching Yamunotri have a holy dip and then offer puja at the Yamunotri temple. After puja and darshan of Yamuna, trek back to Janki Chatti. Then again drive to Barkot. After dinner, stay overnight.
After dinner, stay overnight at the Uttarkashi camp.
Day 05 : Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (100 Kms. one way)
On the 5th day itinerary of Char Dham Tour Package you will move towards Gangotri, the origin of Ganga River. On arrival at Gangotri first take a holy dip in the River Ganga. Ganga is called Bhagirathi in its origin as Ganga is the eternal gift to Bhagirath’s penance. Then offer prayers to Ganga worshipped in the temple.
Then explore the surroundings. Drive back to Uttarkashi Camp. After dinner, stay overnight.
Day 06 : Uttarkashi - Guptkashi (223 kms. Drive 9 - 10 hrs)
After an early breakfast drive for Guptkashi. Enroute explore the pale Tehri city which is losing its heritage beauty sinking into the Ganga. Then have lunch. Again continue drive to Guptakashi and on arrival take the camp for overnight stay.
Day 07 : Guptakashi - Kedarnath (32 kms Drive to Gaurikund & 14 kms trek)
Char Dham Yatra will take you to Kedarnath, the seat of Lord Shiva and the major site of the Panch kedars. First you will drive to Gaurikund. Reaching Gaurikund you have to trek 14 kms to reach Kedarnath.
On arrival take the Tourist Bungalow or Parmarth Ashram. Have a bath. Then perform puja at the Kedarnath temple. The main shrine is a stone edifice. Adi Guru Shankaracharya spent the last days of his life at Kedarnath. Also visit the Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi.
Stay overnight at the Ashram.
Day 08 : Kedarnath - Gaurikund - Rudraprayag (14 Kms trek 80 kms Drive)
Post breakfast trek back to Gaurikund. Then continue drive for Rudraprayag where the Alaknanda and Mandakini River meets.
On arrival take the hotel. In the evening explore the Rudraprayag town. After dinner stay overnight.
Day 09 : Rudraprayag - Badrinath (170 kms)
After breakfast drive to Shri Badrinath temple. Badrinath temple is dedicated to Badirnarayan, Lord Vishnu and this dham is the major dham of Panch Badris.
On arrival, take the ashram or lodge. Take a holy dip in the natural spring Tapta Kund. Then Darshan and puja at the Badrinath temple. The rest of the time you explore the Mana village located on the edge of the Tibetan border and the inhabitants are Indo-Mongolian tribe. Stay overnight at the ashram or lodge.
Day 10 : Badrinath - Rudraprayag (160 kms)
Morning after Aarti Darshan at Badrinath temple, drive to Rudraprayag. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Stay overnight.
Day 11 : Rudraprayag - Rishikesh (135 Kms 7 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Rishikesh enroute visit Dhari Devi Temple located on the way of Rishikesh. Continue drive to Rishikesh. Lunch will be served at Srinagar. If you can manage your time visit the Devprayag (The confluence of rivers Alaknanda and Bhagirathi, which become the Ganga).
Day 12 : Rishikesh - Delhi (234 km)
Post breakfast drive back to Delhi and on arrival on assitance transfer to the hotel.
