Day 01 : Trivandrum
Arrive at Trivandrum Airport. Meet our representative who will drive you to the hotel. Trivandrum is the capital city of Kerala which houses the Chitra Art Gallery, Napier Museum, Kuthiramalika Museum, Sri Padmanabha Temple. The Chitra Art Gallery is home to a good collection of paintings of Raja Ravi Varma and other famous painters of India. This Gallery has also a good collection of paintings of China, Japan, and Indonesia.
Day 02 : Trivandrum - Thottapally - Alleppey
On the 2nd day of Kerala ayurveda tour, move towards Thottapally. Board a houseboat here which will cruises down to Alleppey. Enjoy the sights and sounds of Kerala backwaters. Spend the night onboard the houseboat. Like a modern accommodation, Kerala houseboats have sitting joints, well-equipped kitchen, spacious beds and dining table. Savor a Kerala dish in dinner.
Day 03 : Alleppey - Kumarakom
Have sumptuous breakfast at the houseboat. Then disembark. You will drive to the next destination Kumarakom, a backwater village located on the Vembanad Lake. Upon arrival check in at a resort. In the evening walk past the scenic vistas of Kumarakom islands.
Day 04 : Kumarakom - Periyar
After breakfast, embark on a boat ride to Periyar National Park, one of the most sought after wildlife destinations in Kerala. This park is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. On the boat cruise explore the wild animals lazing on the banks of the Lake. A simple boat ride on Periyar Lake is exhilarating as the scenic vistas of nature will be a feast to your eyes.
Day 05 : Periyar - Munnar
After breakfast travel to Munnar hill station, a scenic abode of nature bestowed with tea gardens, hills, and dense forests. Munnar is an exotic destination for a relaxed holiday. Embark on a tea plantation tour in and around Munnar. Eravikulam National park is very close to Munnar. You can explore the rich wildlife at the park. It is home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr.
Day 06 : Munnar - Cochin
After having breakfast at the hotel drive to Cochin, the commercial and cultural hub of Kerala. Located along the shore of Arabian Sea Cochin is a busy port city. There are lots of travel attractions in Kochi-Dutch Palace, Fort Kochi, Jewish Synagogue, Chinese Fishing Nets, St Francis Church and various other temples. The Cochin Harbor is also a worth visiting site.
Day 07 : Cochin - Kovalam Beach
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Kovalam beach located along the shore of the Arabian Sea. This crescent shaped beach of Kerala draws thousands of tourists in a year. Upon arrival check in at an ayurveda resort. The rest of the time you can have beach fun lazing around the beach.
Day 08 - 14 : Kovalam
You will taka a seven days ayurveda treatment therapy at the resort. The treatments are offered for de-stress and for other various rheumatic diseases. You can consult an ayurveda specialist before taking a special treatment.
Kovalam is a lively beach. Apart from the treatments you can explore the beach villages and the nearby attractions.
Day 15 : Trivandrum
On the last day of Kerala ayurveda tour, drive to Trivandrum. Board the onward flight.
