Day 01 : Arrive at Calicut (new name Kozhikode)
On the first day of Kerala heritage tour you will arrive at Kozhikode Airport. Our tour representative will welcome you and drive you to the hotel.

Calicut is the city where Vas Co Da Gama first landed in 1498. It is said that the Venetian traveler Marco Polo also visited this city and mentioned about this city as the great Province of Malabar in his travelogue. The main attractions you will visit today are Thali Temple, Pazhassirajah Museum Lokanarkavu Temple. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel. 

Day 02 : Calicut
After breakfast drive to Beypore, the largest wood market of Asia. Explore the Ship building industry. In the afternoon visit the Kappad Beach and Kozhikode Beach. Have fun and pleasure. After dinner, stay overnight.

Day 03 : Calicut - Mahe (64 kilometers)
After breakfast drive to Mahe village which is a geographical part of Kerala only, politically it is a part of Pondicherry Union Territory. It was a French town. Mahe covers an area of 9 square kms and it is divided into two parts by the Mahe River. The main inhabitants are Malayalam people.

Day 04 : Mahe
Explore the Mahe town. It houses some churches and an institute namely Kerala Traditional Dance Center. Mahe is itself beautiful to thrill you. It is surrounded by beach on one side and hills by other side.

Day 05 : Mahe - Wayanad
Have breakfast at the hotel. Then start your drive to Wayanad which is home to rolling hills and dense forests. This district of Kerala is home to Wayanad Wildlife Park which is the largest abode of wildlife in Malabar region. The main wild animals found in the park are Elephant, spotted deer, bison, tiger, cheeta, wild bear, etc.

Day 06 : Wayanad
After breakfast, visit the Edakkal caves perched on a hillock of Ambukuthy. The walls of the caves have motifs of animal figures, symbols and other objects. The carvings of the cave still a matter of research for the historians and archaeologists. Explore the rock architecture of the caves.

If you a nature buff and want to unwind at a wild island, you can visit the Kuruva Island which is home to birds, orchids and herbs. There are also other plantations and hill stations in Wayanad to explore.

Day 07 : Wayanad - Cheruthuruthy
On the 7th day of Kerala cultural heritage tour travel to Cheruthuruthy, a cultural hub of Kerala. It is a small village on the bank of the Nila River in Thrissur district of Kerala.  It houses an art and dance centre which is one of the premier institutes of art and culture in Kerala.  Upon arrival check in at a hotel.

Visit the Kerala Kalamandalam, a training institute for traditional art forms like Kathakali, Mohiniyattam, Thullal, Koothu, and for folk dances. Also visit the Kozhimamparambu Bhagavathy temple, the Cheruthutruthy Mosque, and St. Thomas Church. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 08 : Cheruthuruthy - Cochin (Kochi)
After breakfast drive to Cochin. This city is the main commercial hub of Kerala located along the shore of the Arabian Sea. Kochi port is one of the busiest ports in India.

On arrival take a hotel. Then set out your sightseeing tour in Kochi. Explore the
Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church and Jewish Synagogue. The Chinese Fishing Nets, a cultural icon of the city is located at Fort Kochi. Explore the local handicrafts market. Walk pas the Marine Drive in the evening. For dinner visit a Kerala restaurant and savor a Kerala lip-smacking dish.

Day 09 : Cochin - Flight Back Home
On the last day of the tour you will be transferred to the Kochi Airport by our representative.
